The Guitar Hero games from Activision have probably introduced the world to a mass legion of new guitar players after the popularity of the game sky rocketed with the launch of Guitar Hero 3 a few years ago.
When watching someone completing "Through the fire and flames" on the highest level, my thought is always:
What if that kid put the same effort into learning the real guitar...
Well - now that time may have come. Zivix have launched a Fender Stratocaster style guitar with real strings and setup - but with sensitive frets that allow you to play the GH games as well as play a real guitar. Equipped with the usual Fender style pickups, volume controls and detail, this real rock guitar will get the kids interested in playing a proper version of their favorite multi colored plastic button toy.
Anything that gets people into playing a musical instrument is a good thing and is beneficial for the child and their learning ability in all things.
What's next? The Wii Fit Board/Guitar Hero/Fender/Dance dance revolution mashup? Now that I would like to see.
